Austin Studios provides both interior and exterior custom architectural millwork and freestanding furnishings to the design community, primarily in new residential construction. The majority of our architectural detailing is crafted of wood, limestone and resin; but our repertoire of work also includes specialty materials such as onyx, lagos azul, soapstone, and a variety of unique marbles. Austin Studios is not your typical millwork shop. We offer the luxury of a boutique, and the personal service of a small family business. We are a team of patient, committed artisans crafting unique ornamental designs for each client's specific situation. Every member of our company is dedicated to the pursuit of fine architectural detailing developed through careful consideration of all aspects of each project.

Kevin Austin, founder of Austin Studios and the visionary behind every project, developed his passion in humble beginnings. {Originally Austin Woodworks, Kevin started hand carving wood mantels for discriminating homeowners out of his garage in 19xx. Since then Austin Woodworks has evolved to include xxx, added partner David Nicholas, grown from a 6-head manually-driven woodcarving machine to a programmable stone carving machine in addition to having the fastest and best carver in the South, with relationships and capabilities to laser scan and scribe 3d parts, mold and cast anything, etc. }As project engineer and designer, Kevin continues to personally coordinate and oversee each project; lending his expertise in historically accurate period design from a viewpoint including extensive hands-on experience and knowledge in a diversity of materials and methods of construction.
